This Friday marks two months since Things They Buried debuted, and we’re already deep in first book of The Long Game—but more on that in May. Our April short fiction entry is “A Young Person’s Guide to the Victalyassa,” featuring young Sylandair working in the garden with estate groundskeeper Reye. It’s a peek into one of the simpler—almost normal—moments in Syl’s life.

We’re not sure who’s “Young Persons’ Guide” we’ll feature next month. Several have been drafted (including Haus, Hergis, and Sviroosa), but we haven’t yet picked. If there’s one you’d particularly like to read, let us know.
