Amanda has been independently publishing fiction since 2019. Before that, she was a corporate drone, turning her writing talent toward marketing, SEO, and all those other horrible trappings of the corporatocracy. With the publication of Things They Buried, she transitioned to author.
In her spare time Amanda herds cats (literal cats—9 of them), works as a guitar tech at Two Moons Lutherie, provides writing and design services to small businesses, trounces Michael in gin and Risk, and attempts to tame her urban garden.
She loves creating characters and putting them in nasty situations just to see what they’ll do. They always surprise her.
MICHAEL R. SWANSON
Michael' is a published musician in addition to indie author. He loves all things creative and hates author bios.
When not worldbuilding or writing Ismae stories, Michael owns and operates Two Moons Lutherie and nurses his gaming habit. Ask him anything about stringed instruments or tabletop gaming, and he’ll produce enough info to fill twenty author bios.
He assists Amanda in herding their cat clowder, enjoys their urban garden, and consumes vintage SFF.
Michael would rather be living in Dockhaven than our current dystopian wonderland.
